Solar PV Module Integrated Manufacturing Process

Polysilicon is obtained from quartz with the application of carbon arc in an electric arc furnace.

By casting molten polysilicon in a block, an ingot or silicon block is formed.

To obtain wafers, ingots are separated using wire saws.

Wafers are subjected to a solar etching process to produce hexagonal or rectangular-shaped wafers.

After cleaning the wafers they are introduced to a phosphorous diffusion furnace.

An anti-reflective coating is applied to the top part of the cell to reduce the loss of sunlight.

Aluminized conductive material is deposited on the back surface of each cell by displacing the diffused phosphorous layer.

Each solar cell is then tested and arranged in a framework to form a solar panel.

solar cell is then arranged in series /parallel net woke for metallization and then framed.

Polysilicon to Ingots and Ingot to wafer 6 GW Capacity

Polysilicon to Ingots

With the Netwest solar Pvt. Ltd India ,(6GW capacity by 2026-27) manufacturing poly-silicon to wafers, is going to change the scenario in global and Asian context .India needs 30-40 GW for its domestic purposes annually when total ingot-wafer manufacturing not getting summing up more than 11 GW by 2026/27 . The NetWest shall be none to second in this field in India. This is necessary for the future health of the solar ecosystem in India.

Ingot to wafer

Wafer to cell

Indian conglomerate NetWest Solar Pvt. Ltd has planned producing ingots and wafers 6 GW integrated capacity in TN, India. Its ambitious wafers to cells plant with further manufacturing matrix of 4GW TOPCON and 2GW HJT shall be one of the first of its kind in Indian, with very high efficiency solar cells ranging from 23% to 25% + This will help India’s efforts towards energy independence and renewable energy transition with the solar power at its core and promoting domestically manufactured solar cells .A cell is a crucial component for demystification and in solar PV supply chain

Cell to Modules

Cell to Modules

The prevailing market potential and the future scenario of Solar PV modules, the next generation technologies of Topcon and HJT solar modules are adopted for manufacturing.

Netwest is none to second in India for manufacturing most advanced solar PV module manufacturing of 6 GW with state of the art facilities and with robotic and automatic operational facilities vis –a-vis top notch latest technology of TopCon and HJT coupled with vertical linkage from polysilicon to solar modules.
